Avery Weigh-Tronix awtxScaleTest (v1.1)
A utility program used to verify scale operation with a computer, UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager. Installs on Win XP (32/64-bit) and Win 7 (32/64-bit) — Supports RS-232 only.

File Dependency:
The awtxScaleTest program requires access to some graphics drawing capabilities that are not always available on many computers. If the application does not launch properly, please try installing the following support file:

Simply click on the above link to download the zip file (to any convenient directory). Then, UNZIP the file, and then double-click the PowerPacks3Setup.exe file to perform the installation.
Note: Installation could take several minutes as help file documents are also generated.

Due to difficulties using ‘ClickOnce’ installation on some platforms, the application has been rebuilt to discontinue use of ClickOnce publishing and to instead use simple ‘copy’ (.exe file) to destination.

After downloading the ZIP file, simply unzip it to extract the awtxScaleTest.exe application file. You can place this file in any folder you wish.
Note: since it is no longer uses a full installation package, your computer must already have the .NET 3.5 Framework installed on it for this application to run. If it does not you may install the framework from the Microsoft website.
Also, no desktop shortcut will be automatically installed. To create one yourself manually, simply right-click on the application file name and select ‘Create Shortcut’.

Upgraded (from v2 control) to provide a more robust disconnect/connect
handling mechanism for stamps.com.

OPOSScale.OCX (v1.13, OPOS Scale Common Control Object)
A 32-bit ActiveX Control (OCX) driver used to integrate any manufacturers scale into OPOS-compliant POS systems. The installation of this version of the scale common control object driver is optional.

This scale-only OPOS common control object was extracted from the complete 1.13.001 CCO Runtime (ZIP File) release of 2010/03/01 provided by RCS; A Division of NCR; Dayton, Ohio, and as developed by MCS, Inc. It was repackaged and provided here as a convenience to customers of Avery Weigh-Tronix.
